Swivel Hoist Rings are widely used across many rigging and lifting setups. Designed to both pivot and swivel at the base, these hoist rings can freely rotate in sync with the load’s movement. While standard eye bolts serve similar lifting purposes, they remain fixed and will lose capacity when subjected to angled loading.

As an example, if a gust of wind causes the suspended load to shift during a lift, a swivel hoist ring will turn with the load without reducing its rated capacity. The ring pivots up to 180°, while the base swivels a full 360° via a swivel bushing, allowing for lifts in any direction and maintaining alignment with the force for optimal load capacity and safety.

Never exceed the maximum working load limit / load capacity. Doing so can result in product failure leading to injury or death.

When loading at angles, rated capacity is drastically reduced (for example, at 45 degrees, it's reduced to 1/4 of the original value).

The angle from the bolt centerline should never be greater than 45 degrees.

Always apply loads in the plane of the eye.

Ensure proper seating for shoulder lifting eyes before use, otherwise the working load limit will be reduced. If it does not bear firmly against the mating part, a steel washer or spacer may be required.
