These heads are the best choice by far for Kadron-powered street/strip engines, and work equally well for other carburetor combos.  If you're looking for a excellent power up to about 6500 RPM's, yet durable enough to last on the street, these heads are for you.  They're capable of producing up to about 150 HP with the right engine combo, even with Kadrons! We see many people make the mistake of building a big engine, using a high performance camshaft, and only "as cast" cylinder heads, only to make mediocre power at best.  Spend a few extra bucks on  heads, and you'll have a much nicer motor when done.  You'll be surprised at how much better it runs.

The Stage 2 heads feature a wedge port that is small enough to fit on the Kadron manifold footprint, yet flows exceptionally well. We highly recommend not only match-porting the intake manifolds to your heads, we also recommend enlarging the inside diameter of the manifold all the way up to the carburetor for best flow.  The 40x35.5mm stainless steel valves are terrific for most street, strip, and off-road applications, providing low-end grunt and extended RPM power.  We use them on our 2180cc in our blue street/strip car. Dual springs, hardened keepers and retainers, and dual hi-rev valve springs are included.   These are custom-made for your specific engine.  Please allow 2-3 weeks.
