C. Platero is a Los Angeles–based painter, sculptor, and designer whose work explores abstraction through the lens of cubism, expressionism, and surrealism. Originally from Northern California, Platero draws inspiration from California’s architectural landscape, mountainous terrain, and layered cultural history. His compositions reflect a deep connection to mid-century design and the evolving spirit of the West Coast, translating environment into bold form and movement.
