This painting captures one of the most iconic views of San Miguel de Allende—the majestic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel glowing under a sky ablaze with color.

As a painter, I wanted the atmosphere to feel electric, almost dreamlike. The reflection on the wet cobblestones turns the ground into a mirror of the sky, creating a dialogue between above and below. The figures in the foreground walk among lights and memory, tradition and present-day life.

This work is not just architectural—it’s emotional. It’s about color as a language, and San Miguel as a living canvas.
