The Ferno Venice PowerTraxx is a next-generation powered stair chair designed for safe, efficient patient transfers in both emergency and non-emergency settings.

Lighter and more functional than the previous EZ-Glide PowerTraxx model, this versatile chair can be used as a carry chair, stair track chair or wheelchair, reducing the need for manual lifting and minimising the risk of injury to operators.

Built for indoor and outdoor use, the Venice PowerTraxx features large 200 mm high-grip rubber wheels that make manoeuvring across various surfaces easier and safer.

Its flat track belts improve traction across a wider range of stair types, while the powered track system effortlessly handles stairs, inclines, kerbs and even entry into vehicles via side or rear steps.

For added control, operators benefit from variable speed settings, including a slow-speed mode for precise handling in tighter spaces.

A built-in light improves visibility in low-light conditions, and the ergonomic frame, adjustable-height handles, and locking rear lift handles enhance comfort and control for all users.

The seat and backrest are slightly angled for better positioning, and the lower footrest with ankle strap ensures additional support, especially for bariatric patients.

Adjustable, storable armrests also provide extra comfort when used in wheelchair mode.

Designed with ease of storage in mind, the chair folds down to a compact 20 cm depth and includes a specially designed bracket with magnets to secure the wheels—no need to lift the chair into place.

A high-capacity 5 Ah Milwaukee M28 battery powers the enhanced motor, offering reliable performance with minimal effort.

With a safe working load of up to 230 kg (36.2 stone), crash-tested components, and compatibility across different vehicle types, the Venice PowerTraxx offers a durable, smart solution for modern patient handling.
